Note * 'Hi-Temp' adapters are rated at 200 degrees and are made from high temp Noryl.
 

What is the difference between the Pentair / Praher union verses the other CMP unions listed?
Answer: Internal  O-Ring, ( not the one shown in picture ), on the Pentair union is imbedded  in the threaded side of the union where the CMP unions have a "T" Gasket, ( not a O-Ring ) imbedded in the slip side of the union. The "T" Gasket in both CMP unions are made out of a Hi-Temp material. They use the same gasket in both the HI-TEMP union and their regular PVC union.  Note that their Hi-Temp union is Noryl on threaded side and PVC on the slip side.
