Magma Onsen is a bath salt which is derived from 'Umijigoku', a 1,000+ year old therapeutic hot springs in Beppu, Japan. Magma Onsen helps to maintain the acid alkaline balance of the skin with a pH of 7.5 to 8.5 while providing relaxation to over-worked, stressed, and tired muscles and joints. A special blend of perfumes and fragrances are added to enhance relaxation.

The waters of Umijigoku are created by the super-heating of water that has soaked through the fissures of the earth’s crust – often 100+ degrees Fahrenheit. Because the waters are blueish green and look like the color of seawater, the hot springs are called “Sea of Hell.”

It is safe for filtration systems and plumbing, so Magma Onsen can be used in bathtub, spa, or hot tub.
