The Aspid automatic pool cleaner uses a new technology called a "pulsation ball" that rapidly opens and closes an internal opening allowing the Aspid automatic pool cleaner to move randomly throughout the pool, along the floors, up the wall and to the tile line.

Like most suction side automatic pool cleaners the Aspid will not clean the step of the pool. However, where many suction side cleaners become stuck in corners, steps or ladders the Aspid has been designed with a unique triangular floor disc that is equipped with raised and angled deflectors to help eliminate or reduce hang ups.
