Directions:
   1. Make sure all equipment is OFF.
   2. Add 1/4 oz. ( 1-1/2 tsp.) to the spa water.
   3. Turn on circulation system for 30 minutes.
   4. Retest water. If pH is still above 7.8, repeat steps 1-3.

Tip: For best results, dissolve granular products first by adding to a small, plastic pail filled with water.
Then, apply the solution to the spa water. It is important to maintain the pH between 7.2-7.8.
High pH (above 7.8) can cause scaling and/or cloudy or colored water.
 

Directions:
  1. Turn ON air blower or filter system.
  2. Add 1 oz. directly into spa.
  3. Retest water after 30 minutes.
  4. Follow steps 1-3 until pH and total alkalinity are in the range of 7.2-7.8 and 80-120 ppm respectively.

Tip: Do NOT add more than 1 oz. at a time. Always wait 30 minutes between dosages and test water before each addition of Liquid Spa Down. Lock in pH between refills with Leisure Time pH Balance or pH Balance Plus.
 

 
General Information:
pH Decreaser is a chemical designed to lower the pH of spa water. It is safer to handle and use than liquid acids. Keep in mind newly plastered spas may require frequent treatments for the first four weeks while the spa plaster is "curing".

Directions For Use:
  1. Always adjust total alkalinity FIRST with Alkalinity Increaser BEFORE using pH Decreaser.
  2. If pH measures 7.8 to 8.0 add one heaping tablespoon of pH Decreaser per 500 gallons of water. If pH measures 8.0 to 8.4 add two tablespoons. If pH measures above 8.4, add three tablespoons.
  3. Apply direct dosage directly to the water with the pump operating ( turn jets off ). Allow the water to circulate for 15 to 20 minutes. Retest the pH and repeat the treatment if necessary to bring pH into the range of 7.2 to 7.6.
NOTE: Do not add near the metal fittings of the spa. Do not allow pH to drop below 7.2. Use brush or agitation to break up any undissolved lumps of this product.
 

 
General:
Spa pH Decreaser lowers the pH of water which should be maintained between a pH of 7.2 and &.7.6.
When pH is too high ( above 7.6 ), water becomes uncomfortable to bathers, sanitizers lose their efficiency, water may become cloudy and scale forms more readily.

Directions:
  1. Test spa water for pH level.
  2. Compare pH test results to chart below to determine appropriate amount of pH decreaser necessary to make adjustment.
  3. With the spa not in use and circulation pump operating, add required amount directly into spa water.
  4. Continue circulating water a minimum of 30 minutes.
  5. Retest, adjust if necessary.
