APPLICATION
Ensure all pool equipment is clean & works properly.
Maintain pH in the range of 7.2-7.6, total alkalinity within 60-100 ppm and calcium hardness above 200 ppm.
With pump running, broadcast recommended dosage over wide area in the deepest part of the pool during the evening hours and ensure pump runs for at least 2 hours.

DOSAGE:
For unstabilized pools: 8-11 ounces per 10,000 gallons of water daily or as needed.
For stabilized pools: 4-6 ounces per 10,000 gallons of water every other day or as needed.
Available chlorine level must be between 1- 4 ppm before re-entering the pool. Depending on water conditions, additional shocking may be necessary. Note: Prolonged contact with pool surface may cause staining or bleaching.

Shock Treatment / Superchlorination:
Check and adjust pH, calcium hardness and total alkalinity levels.
Shock treat/superchlorinate using 14-28 ounces per 10,000 gallons of water to yield 5 to 10 ppm available
chlorine by weight. Shock treat weekly. Note: Additional shocking may be required depending on water and weather conditions.

Algae treatment:
Add product as close to algae as possible.
Immediately scrub affected area, vacuum and cycle through filter. Repeat treatment if necessary.

How To Use:
Add the recommended dosage of this product during evening hours while the filter is running. When adding this product to a pool, broadcast the product evenly over a wide area in the deepest part of the pool. Use entire contents when open. If any granules settle to the bottom of the pool use brush to disperse.

Shock Treatment / Superchlorination:
Ensure all pool equipment is clean & works properly.
Maintain pH in the range of 7.2-7.6, total alkalinity within 60-100 ppm and calcium hardness above 200 ppm. Every 7 days, or as necessary to prevent pool problems, shock treat / super chlorinate the pool by adding 10-20 oz. of this product per 10,000 gallons of water to provide 5-10 ppm available chlorine. Additional shock tratments may be required to correct problems which are caused by visible algae, high bathing load, heavy wind and rainstorms. Additional shock treatments may also be required to correct problems such as unpleasant odors and eye irritation. Check the available chlorine with a suitable test kit. Reentry into treated pools is prohibited above levels of 4 ppm due to risk of bodily harm.

For Residential Pool Shock:
Ensure all pool equipment is working properly. Backwash the filter system following manufacture's direction. Adjust pH between 7.2-7.6. Test for dissolved metals and if present add a stain and scale inhibitor before using this product to prevent staining of pool surface. When using other products as outlined in the directions for this product, always follow directions on those products. Check the level of available chlorine with a suitable test kit. Do not re-enter the pool until chlorine residual is between 1.0 to 3.0 ppm. For weekly application intervals in residential swimming pools, use this product at the rate of 1 pound per 12,000 gallons of water. Add the total recommended amount at one time, broadcasting evenly into the deep end of the pool when the pool is not in use ( preferably at night ) and with the pump running. Also reapply after heavy rain showers or following heavy bather loads. For two week application intervals in residential swimming pools, use this product at the rate of 1 pound per 6,000 gallons of water every other week. Add the total recommended amount at one time, broadcasting evenly into the deep end of the pool when the pool is not in use ( preferably at night ) and with the pump running. Also reapply after heavy rain showers or following heavy bather loads. To prevent damage to pool surface, use a pool brush to disperse un-dissolved granules which may have settled to the bottom of the pool.
