STAIN AND SCALE PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
Maintain pool water in the pH range of 7.2 to 7.6, total alkalinity at 100 to 150 ppm and calcium hardness at 100 to 275 ppm. If pH falls below 7.0, serious corrosion problems may result. For best results, use Stain Rust & Scale Control in the evening with the pool pump and filter operating overnight.

Add four to six (4-6) ounces of Stain Rust & Scale Control per 10,000 gallons of water every 4-5 days by premixing into plastic pail of water and then dispensing solution at deep end of the pool.
Cloudiness accompanied by white flakes may appear indicating that the product is working, the cloudiness will eventually disappear.

Directions for use:

Initial Dose
Following dosage chart below, add the recommended 'Initial Dosage' of Scalefree directly to the pool.
If water hardness level is above 500 ppm, double the recommended dose.

Monthly Maintenance Dosage
After initial treatment, add Scalefree montly according to recommended dosage chart to maintain scale and stain protection throughout the season.
 

NOTE:
For new, remodeled or refinished pools, add Scalefree following the initial dosage instructions.
Add product during filling to prevent plaster dust formation, scaling and metal staining.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Add sixteen (16) ounces of Metal Out Plus per 10,000 gallons of water by premixing into plastic pail of water and then dispensing solution at deep end of the pool. Cloudiness accompanied by white flakes may appear indicating that the product is working,
the cloudiness will eventually disappear.

MAINTENANCE TREATMENT:
Follow all steps outlined above. Every 4-5 days, add two (2) ounces of Metal Out Plus per 10,000 gallons of pool water, to prevent stain and scale formation. Note: In hard water areas where calcium hardness exceeds 300 ppm, it is advisable to double the dosages listed above. However, DO NOT increase the dosages more than double for one
 

Normal:
Use 16 oz. RESIST per 10,000 gallons of pool water. For hard water, (over 200 ppm), high iron, copper or manganese content (over 0.1 ppm), double the initial dosage (32 oz. per 10,000 gallons).
Add RESIST after the pool has been filled. Filled pool should then be circulated overnight before adding chlorine or other pool chemicals to allow RESIST to react with and prevent precipitation of minerals in fresh fill water.

Tips:
Resist should always be added when a pool is initially filled or when fresh water is added, because most fresh water will contain some stain and scale producing minerals.

Directions:
Add one 32oz( 1L ) bottle of Metalfree per 20,000 gallons of pool water to chelate .5ppm of metals.
If your metal reading is higher than .5ppm, adjust dosage as necessary.

Application:
Sprinkle in water around pool perimeter. Do not add thru skimmer.

*Caution* Do not splash or spill METALfree on deck or coping.

When to use:
1. When pool is first filled.
2. At the beginning of pool season.
3. At season end.

Maintenance:
Add 4 oz. per 10,000 gallons every week.
 

 
Removal of stains and scale:
Apply 16 oz. of Staintrine per 10,000 gallons of pool water capacity as close to the affected area as possible.

Tips:
Follow Staintrine treatment with weekly doses of Resist. Resist prevents metals and minerals from staining pool surfaces.
 

Normal:
1. Place 1 lb. of  REMOVIT in a bucket and add 2 gallons of water for up to 10,000 gallons of water to be treated. ( For pools with plaster construction, dilute with 4 gallons of water and brush pool walls ).
2. Mix thoroughly and pour contents into pool over stained area. For long lasting protection against stains, scale and rust, follow REMOVIT with RESIST.
3. Repeat application every 8 weeks for maximum protection and prevention.
