Each 1 pound of salt will increase salt content 12 ppm per 10,000 gallons.

Before Adding Product:
Please read instructions on Salt Water Magic Start-Up bag.
Follow manufacturer's guidelines for beginning operation of chlorine generator. Note: For pool water with high metal content or fill water from source other than municipal water systems, add one ( 1 L ) bottle of Natural Chemistry's METALfree ( contains no phosphates ) before adding Salt Water Magic "Start-Up".

Plaster Pools:
Allow surfaces to cure according to builder instructions before adding product.

All Pools:
Adjust water balance, alkalinity, pH and calcium hardness to dealer recommended levels.

Always start with a clean pool and active pool filtration.

Directions For Salt Water Magic Start-Up Use:
* Note * You will be adding ( One - 8 lb. ) bag of Salt Water Magic Start-Up Mineral Mix per 6000 gallons of pool water.  This is in addition of proper amount of Pool Salt.  Follow manufacturer's recommendations for salt level and application methods. 

For new pools follow builder's recommendations for for pool start-up. Follow manufacturer's recommendations for salt level. Add entire contents of one 8 lb. bag of Salt Water Magic Start-Up for each 6,000 gallons of pool water.  With circulation pump running, slowly add Salt Water Magic Start-Up bag contents to pool skimmer. If desired, Salt Water Magic Start-Up can be added directly to pool water ( some short term cloudiness may occur ). Brush any residual material until dissolved. After all Start-Up Mineral Mix has been applied to pool water, with circulation pump running add contents of one ( 1 L ) bottle of Natural Chemistry's Salt Water Magic ( Liquid ) to pool skimmer. Do not clean or backwash filter for at least 48 hours. Wait 20 minutes after adding product before swimming.
