SpaBrite and AquaLight look identical, except SpaBrite
utilize a lower wattage halogen bulb. This newer version of
the SpaBrite replaces the previous model which used a 100 watt
incandescent bulb instead of a halogen bulb. Due to
government regulation, it now uses a more efficient 60W bulb that puts out
an equivalent amount of light as the previous 100W incandescent bulb. The
SpaBrite lens has also been replaced with the same lens found on LED model
lights. This lens improves on the distribution of light throughout the pool
or spa.
Because of the use of a halogen bulb in the SpaBrite light, SpaBrite will
now replace the 100 watt AquaLight.
