IntelliTouch™ - Pool/Spa Controls Systems - Pentair                                                               Skip IntelliTouch and goto next control

IntelliTouch systems offer the flexibility to handle from 5 to 10 circuits that can be used to control any combination of pumps, lights, water features, etc. By the use of additional Expansion Kits and Load or Power Centers, up to 40 aux circuits can be controlled. As an added benefit, user-configurable circuits can also be used to control these combinations of features and more. The ' Feature Macro Circuits ' feature allows any number of circuits to be combined on a single button. This gives you the ability to set up “themes” with custom names all with a press of a button. (Not available with IntelliTouch model i5 or i5S).

The IntelliTouch system can utilize multiple wired and wireless controllers including the Digital Tablet, Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), the wired in-wall Touch Screen, Indoor Control Panel, and the wireless MobileTouch control panel, and even your existing home PC.

Ordering a System
To make up a complete IntelliTouch™ system, a 3-Step process is required along with any options you may want to chose.

Step 1  - Enclosure Kit ( Load Center or Power Center )
The Enclosure kit is the foundation of all systems. It is the electrical panel that is installed at the equipment pad. By design, a Load Center or Power Center do not include any control panel or circuit board which are installed in the field by the electrician. These are included in the different Personality Kits. All Load Centers do include five 25 Amp 3 HP relays and a 115v/ 230v circuit breaker base.
A Load Center acts as a sub panel which can accommodate circuit breakers.
A Power Center does not include a circuit breaker base.

 Step 2  - Personality Kit
The Personality Kit is what distinguishes the system. The Personality Kit contains the Valve Actuators (where applicable), Temperature Sensors and any 3 HP Relays that may be needed to complete the system. It also includes the Personality ( Circuit board/Indicator ) Panel which is mounted in the Load Center Enclosure.

 Step 3  - Interface Kit
— The Interface Kit is basically the controls which are used to operate the system by the user. Multiple  wired or wireless control devices can be used.

Options  - Optional Expansion Kits and Accessories
