Safety Suction Valve for Jetted Bathtubs

About Jetted Bathtub Safety Suction Valve:

The safety suction valve is designed to reduce the possibility of hair entrapment. This valve is installed in the suction line by a 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 1" tee stubbed above the overflow. The valve is adjustable to any psi desired to meet all safety standards. If the pressure on the cover should reach 2 psi the pump with immediately shut down and release the object covering the suction valve. Once the object has been removed and the pump has had an opportunity to re-prime itself, it will begin operating again.
